Owenam, real name Ssekiyivu Ben, is a Ugandan songwriter and lyricist who has penned several hit songs such as "Ngonze" by Rema Namakula, "Kalira" by Cindy Sanyu, "Da-Re" by Sheebah Karungi, "Dance for the Lord (Remix)" by Sheebah and Bentrom, "Nwanira (Tompeeza)" and "Simanyi" by Olisha M, and "Jangu" by Winnie Nwagi, among others.
