e- also embuzi ekogga (n/n) prison, jail, lit. the goat (mbuzi) gets thin (ekogga).

e- (n/n) goat, okusiba amatu g'embuzi ku muntu, to make a scapegoat of a person, lit. pin the ears of the goat on someone.

e- (n/n) kind of tree which produces a deadly poison, Spondianthus ugandensis; poison (produced by the tree). It is also called muttambuzi, lit. it kills the goats.

mu mmere banteereddemu nnaganga wa ki? What have I eaten, what sort of hideous thing have they put in my food? Omukulu bw'atakwata mu kisibo, embuzi zifa nnaganga. (prov.) If the person in charge does not take over in the pen, the goats die of nnaganga, i.e., if the leader does not perform his tasks the whole organization deteriorates.

o- (mu/mi) female of certain animals, ente y'omugongo, cow. embuzi y'omugongo, (female) goat.
