e- plur. (mu/mi) mucus of the nose; fig. trouble, difficulties, problems. Atu- leetedde eminyira. He has caused us a lot of trouble, cf. akalindaminyira.

-erinza (-erinzizza) v.i. & tr. caus. refl. protect/defend oneself (with); have or keep in reserve for oneself. Kirungi okuba n'ensimbi ez'okwerinza ebiseera ebizibu. It is desirable to have money in reserve for hard times, eby'okwerinza, defense matters; protective/preventive measures. cf. eddindirizi, kalindabazaana, kalinda- luzzi, kalindaminyira, ekirindizo, ekyerinzo.
