e- plur. (ki/bi) meat of an animal which has been slain by wild beasts; the second totem (kabbiro) of the Leopard Clan (Ekika ky'Engo).
e- (1 i/ma) spot (either permanent, as the spot on a leopard, or temporary as a spot of dirt, etc.) cf. ebigondo. bones, skeletons; dead relative(s). okuvuma amagufa, to insult grossly (by offensive references to a dead relative).

a- (ka/bu) small dog; puppy, kuba kabwa na ngo, to be hostile to one another, be like cats and dogs together, lit. to be dog and leopard, cf. lembwa.
o- from engo, leopard, oiugo olumanyi embuzi emponge, lit. the leopard who knows the sacrificial goat, i.e. someone who knows his way around. Ye munnaffe yali lugo olumanyi embuzi emponge mu bitundu bino. Our companion knew his way around in these parts.
a- plur. (li/ma) spots (e.g., of a leopard).

When I •met him he was in a furious state of mind, lit. 1 was like one who had fallen upon a leopard with a cub. Ekitta engo kigiyinga buzito. (prov.) That which kills the leopards is heavier than the leopard, cf. Wango.
