He packed his things and left in a hurry, cf. akayindo, kinnyindwa.

(la) lit. protruding structure, something huge/gigantic/sensational. kakundiiri w'olubuto, a huge stomach, kakundiiri w'ennyindo, an enormous nose. Eri embaga yabadde kakundiiri. That wedding reception was a magnificent event.

a- (ka/bu) small nose. cf. ennyindo.

e- no plur. (ki/bi) nasal twang, nasal tone of voice, as adv. nasally, okwogeza ekinnyindwa, to speak with a nasal tone, ow'ekinnyindwa, a person with a nasal toneof voice, cf. ennyindo.

e- (ki/bi) forehead, brow. Ekibaawo kimala, ennyindo y'enkoko kye kyenyi. (prov.) lit. That which is available is sufficient, the nose of a chicken is (his) forehead. Make the best of what you have. cf. obwenyi.

e- (n/n) pad for the head on which a load is carried; center ring in the ceiling of a hut; circle, coil; cripple, a person bom lame, kukuba (oli) nkata, to give (someone) something, help (someone) out. Bajja ennyindo y'enkata. They came in a state of great rage. cf. ekikata, lekkata.

kuseka nnyindo yankolera. to laugh boisterously/uproariously. kuseka makkete, to laugh happily/ contentedly, kuseka bikkete, to laugh in spite of oneself, kuseka majeemulukufu, to laugh sheepishly, kuseka kasambu- labbwa, to laugh loud and boisterously, lit. it takes the skin off of a wound.

o- (mu/mi) lip; beak, omumwa gw'ennyindo, nostril, ow'omumwa, quarrelsome person (esp. a husband who quarrels with his wife), okufuna eky'okuzza eri omumwa, to get something to eat, lit. to bring back to the lip. okubega emirawa, to pucker one's lips (as one on the brink of tears or who feels an aversion), okukwata ku mumwa, to be amazed/astonished, kuggya mumwa ku muntu, to stop slandering a person, kuggya mu kintu mumwa, to have eaten enough, be surfeited with food. Yampisaako ow'e Mbuya. He beat me. (ow- implies Kaggo, the ssaza chief of Kyaddondo; kaggo also means small stick). Ekikolwa ekyo ne tukiyisaako buyisa maaso. pick the teeth/nose, okwesokoola mu nnyindo, to pick one's nose. Ebiyigibwa yalyanga mungu buteesokoola. He found his studies very easy, lit. he ate mungu without having to pick his teeth. cf. essokoolombwe.
