okwe- tungula ensimbi, lit. to unstring one's money, i.e., to dig down deep in one's pocket to pay. Bakadde be ssente baaze- tungula ne bamuwerera. His parents sacrificed a lot to send him (to school).

-ekulula (-ekuludde) v.i. refl. drag oneself; creep; crawl. Ensimbi ze zekulula. He is stingy /tight. cf. omukululo.
