a-: kukwata kalippo, to be filthy/extremely dirty; to be tightly closed; to be tightly packed/jammed together. Essaati ye ekutte kalippo. His shirt is filthy.

do to extremes (in a bad sense). Ng'okamaze! You have really botched things up! In a more frequent usage kamala follows another verb and is translated by the English adverbs: extremely, very much, to a high degree. Omukyala yeraliikirira n'akamala.

e- (ki/bi) line, wrinkle; segment (e-S-> of a caterpillar). Omusomo gummaze ebiseera mu bulago. The course was extremely difficult, lit. finished up the wrinkles on my neck.

e- no plur. (li/ma) dust, residue of crushed grass, kulonda bwoya mu kkukuuzi, to be occupied in an extremely difficult task, lit. pick up little hairs from the dust. cf. olukukuuzi.
