a- = (akasana) akasenda- bazaana, (the sunshine) which attracts (senda) maidens (bazaana), i.e., twilight, the setting sun. See kalabirizabazaana.
a- no plur. (ka/bu) spasm; exhaustion. Olunaku olwo lwatandika n'akasana akayinza n'okusuula omuntu kawansazi. That day started off with sunshine which was capable of throwing a person into a state of exhaustion.
a- adj. with akasana (sunshine) implied, period from about 7:30 to 8-30 A-M. cf. woomera, omulezi.
