-esazisa (-esazisizza) v.tr. caus. 1 & 2 refl. cause to cut oneself; cause to cut oneself with/using; cause to separate/divide, kwesaza bulala, to be in a flutter, be excited about an anticipated pleasure, kwesaza ng'ow'akagatto akamu (lit. be excited like a person with a single shoe) = kwesaza bulala. Engabi n'ejja yeesaza mu kisaawe. And the bushbuck came cutting across the field.

v.tr. refl. separate oneself from; avoid; be distant from. Omukazi oyo ama- tama gatandise okumwesamba ennyindo. This woman is beginning to show her age, lit. her cheeks have begun to separate themselves from her nose.
