e- plur. (ki/bi) tendons of the neck. Yazze ng'ebikya bimwereeze. He arrived in a very tense/distraught frame of mind (lit. the tendons of his neck were taut), cf. ?rijlukya.
entegetege ne zimu- famba, and he became timid/he stood shaking in his boots, lit. his tendons became weak.
a- (ka/bu) small tendon. Yansalirira akanywa. He betrayed me. cf. ^ekinywa.

o- (lu/h) tendon in the lower rear part of the foot.

care for. kweyolera mpiri mu bunnya, lit. bring up a viper in a pit, i.e., nurse a viper in one's bosom, have a traitor in one's household. Akabwa ke weeyolera ke kaku- luma enteega. (prov.) The little dog you raise is the one that bites your tendons.
