yiisisa (-yiisisizza) v.tr. caus. 1 Sc 2 cause to cook/ferment, etc. Njiisizza emmere. I have the food ready. I have finished cooking. Kisitu ye yamuyii- sisa omwenge. It was Kisitu who made him brew the beer. cf. -yiifu,

o- (bu/-) gruel/porridge made from millet or banana meal, kuyoya busera, to be tired and hungry. Mpolampola, ayiisa obusera. (prov.) Very slowly, he cooks (good) porridge. Slow but sure.
e- adv. slowly; gently, softly; quietly, mpolampola, gradually, by degrees. Akwata empola atuuka wala. (prov. j Who proceeds slowly goes far. Slow but sure. Mpolampola, ayiisa obu- sera. (prov.) Slowly and carefully, he cooks the porridge. Easy does it. cf. kawola.
o- (mu/mi) omuyiiro gw'omwenge, new batch of beer; quantity of beer brewed at one time. cf. ^ggya, yiisa.
